The Heart Sutra Conceived
Sneh Gangal has exhibited extensively and with reputed art promoters like India Today. After marriage she was busy in family affairs but now she has arrived afresh and with new subject. She has painted Heart Sutra with her delicacy and in a new style. Heart sutra is esoteric and concretization of Madhyamic Sunyavada of Nagarjuna. Art critic and artist Rajesh Shukla writes, “This Sutra is the answer to a critical question asked by Sariputta; it is that question which Buddha did not answer. So According to the sutra Buddha did not preach it directly; it is Avalokiteshvara who taught it. But the nature of Sutra is unique and was not taught to ordinary disciples because it was a sacred discourse, very mystical and profound and can not be understood by unqualified person.
